Nexus operates on a decentralized, walletless architecture designed to minimize custodial risk. Unlike legacy markets that require users to deposit funds into a central wallet (creating a single point of failure), Nexus utilizes direct order payments. This ensures that user funds are never held in a central hot wallet, significantly reducing exposure to volatility or seizure. The platform is accessible exclusively via the Tor network protocol.

Cryptographic verification is the only method to guarantee a link is genuine. Nexus Official publishes a PGP-signed message containing the current active mirrors.

Verification Steps:
1. Import the Nexus Public PGP Key (Key ID: 0x4A2...9F1) into your keyring.
2. Copy the signed message from the Links page.
3. Use your PGP software (Kleopatra/GPG) to "Verify Signature".
4. If the signature is valid, the onion links contained within are safe to use.

Accessing Nexus requires the Tor Browser. For maximum Operational Security (OpSec), configure Tor to "Safest" security level, which completely disables JavaScript. This prevents malicious scripts from deanonymizing your IP address. Never resize the browser window manually (keeps browser fingerprint generic). We strongly advise against using mobile operating systems (iOS/Android) for market activities due to inherent OS-level telemetry.

During registration, the system generates a unique mnemonic seed phrase. This phrase is displayed only once. You must write this down and store it offline. Nexus utilizes non-custodial identity management; administrators do not have access to your password and cannot reset it. Without your mnemonic seed, account recovery is mathematically impossible.

PGP 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is mandatory for all Vendor accounts and highly recommended for Buyer accounts. Furthermore, all sensitive data—particularly shipping addresses—must be encrypted on the client side using the Vendor's public PGP key before being submitted in an order form. Never send plaintext addresses.

Walletless Pay generates a unique, one-time-use receiving address for every individual order. When you check out, you send the exact amount to this address. The market detects the payment on the blockchain and updates the order status to "Processing". Funds are held in escrow and are only released to the vendor's cold storage upon order finalization. This method minimizes the risk of exit scams or hacks affecting user balances.

Nexus accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC). We strongly endorse the use of Monero (XMR) for all transactions due to its default privacy features (Ring Signatures, Stealth Addresses, RingCT) which obfuscate transaction data on the blockchain. If using Bitcoin, ensure coins are mixed via CoinJoin prior to depositing.

Physical Goods: Auto-finalize timer is set between 7 to 21 days based on vendor level and shipping origin.
Digital Goods: Typically auto-dispatch instantly with a 48-hour escrow window for verification.

Users must inspect goods immediately upon receipt. If an issue arises (non-delivery or product mismatch), a dispute must be opened before the timer expires to halt the release of funds.

Nexus enforces a zero-tolerance policy for harm reduction. The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate ban:
- Child Exploitation Material (CSAM)
- Fentanyl, Carfentanil, and related analogs
- Weapons, explosives, and poisons (RICIN, etc.)
- Murder-for-hire or violent services
- Terrorism-related data

To stimulate market growth, Nexus currently waves the standard vendor bond ($500 value). However, entry is not automatic. Prospective vendors must submit an application demonstrating proof of stock and past experience on other markets (reputation transfer). PGP 2FA is mandatory. New vendors without established reputation may be subject to longer escrow periods until trust is established.
